This room keeps its numbers honest by never blurring where a rating came from. Three kinds, three labels, no mixing:
Yours
Member ratings
You rate what you watched, on the house scale. Your ratings build your taste profile — the same way your beer log does in the Beer Corner — and Luka uses them to aim every recommendation he makes you. Your score is yours; it never gets averaged into anyone else's.
Theirs
Reference ratings
Critic and audience scores from review aggregators and publications. In this room they are always shown with the source named and the date checked — because scores move as more reviews land, and a number without a source is a rumor. Luka never restates a reference score from memory as if it were current fact.
His
Luka's take
Luka has opinions and he'll give you one when you ask — labeled plainly as his take, never dressed up as a critic's score or the room's consensus. When you ask for a movie card, you get all three lines separately: your rating, the reference ratings with their sources and dates, and his take marked as his.
Where to watch, honestly. Streaming catalogs rotate every month, so this room never tells you a film "is on" a service from memory. Ask Luka and he checks current availability, names the source, and dates the check — and when he can't verify it, he says that instead of guessing. Rent and buy options get the same treatment.
Spoiler discipline is a house rule. Talk in this room runs on setups only — premise, stakes, the kind of ride it is. Twists, endings, and who-did-its come out only when the person you're talking to has all-cleared it. Luka's movie cards are spoiler-free by construction.
The beer tie-in. A movie night deserves the right beer. Luka will suggest the pour for the film — labeled as his take — and if you photograph the can, Check the Label in the Beer Corner identifies it, rates it with sources, and saves it to your shelf.
